"CRAMPED" for 17:23 Magazine
A fashion editorial exploring the physical and mental ways in which humans feel cramped in the awkward stage between the imagination and wonder of childhood and the reality and rawness of adulthood.

"VOLUME"
In a period of repression the simple action of a human body taking up space can become transgressive, even political. The VOLUME editorial series is a collective response to the climate of fear and repression raining down on communities. The intention with this series is to amplify the voices of artists who are being marginalized in contemporary discourse and celebrate the power of creative collaboration by claiming space.
Bodies in motion.
Bodies of color.
Bodies that don’t conform.
Bodies that sing and dance.
Bodies that make art.
Bodies that hold space for each other.
Bodies that get loud under oppression.
VOLUME is about making art as an act of resistance.

This shoot delves into the concept of female rage, capturing the frustration, resilience, and energy that arise when the progress of women's rights are challenged. It’s a visual commentary on the sense of moving backwards—evoking a time when women’s voices and rights were limited and highlighting the unsettling familiarity of those struggles today. The retro styling channels the aesthetics of the 1960s, a decade defined by social upheaval and change, juxtaposed with the persistent battles women face, as if history is repeating itself in cycles rather than evolving forward. Through bold poses, intense expressions, and symbolic styling, the shoot becomes a powerful reminder of both past struggles and the enduring strength needed to confront similar challenges today.
